Why “Sharquarium” and what does it stand for:

Sharquarium was born out of my deep love for sharks and all marine creatures, a love I've felt since my childhood.

Through my art I try to contribute to the protection of nature and the oceans, by depicting the beauty of often maligned animals like sharks and raising awareness and understanding amongst my young art students.

왜 “Sharquarium” 이며 그것이 의미하는바는 다음과 같습니다.

Sharquarium은 제가 어린 시절부터 느껴온 상어와 모든 해양 생물들에 대한 깊은 사랑에서 탄생했습니다.

제 예술을 통해, 저는 상어와 같은 종종 악의에 찬 동물들의 아름다움을 묘사하고 제 어린 미술 학생들 사이에서 인식과 이해를 높임으로써 자연과 바다를 보호하는데 기여하려고 노력합니다.

What makes Sharquarium's art special:

I paint with sea water and watercolours! The unique structure of my blue paintings is a result of the salt reacting with the watercolor. I use this technique in nearly all of my paintings.

The profit from my art I give to NGOs which work on shark and/or environmental conservation, while I myself collect plastic on beaches and riverbanks whenever I can to reduce the overwhelming pollution.

Sharquarium의 예술이 특별한 이유는 무엇입니까?

저는 바닷물과 수채화를 이용하여 그림을 그립니다. 제 파란색 그림의 독특한 구조는 소금이 수채화와 반응한 결과입니다. 저는 거의 모든 그림에 이 기법을 사용합니다. 제 예술로 얻은 수익은 상어 및/또는 환경 보전을 위해 일하는 NGO에 기부하며 저 스스로는 심각한 오염을 줄이기 위해 해변과 강둑에서 플라스틱을 줍습니다.
